Keysnake 2

The Keysnake is a fully custom-engineered product: essentially a compact computer powering 49 LEDs. Its tongue consists of two female USB-C cables – one for power, the other for MIDI connectivity to your digital piano via DIN or USB.

The head casing is made using precision injection moulding with a high-strength plastic that protects the internal custom motherboard. This motherboard runs our proprietary firmware – delivering instant boot times and built-in protection against sudden power loss.

Keysnake 2 introduces an all-new shake-to-wake feature. Where the original model required unplugging and reconnecting the power cable to wake from sleep, the new version includes an accelerometer so you can simply tap or shake the head to bring it to life.

Along the belly, raised bumps align perfectly with the piano’s keys to ensure each light sits exactly above the correct note. The rubberised body prevents slipping, while remaining flexible and durable enough to curl up for storage or travel.

A resistive spring in the neck lets you adjust the head to any viewing angle – and the symmetrical design means it works equally well facing left or right. There are no buttons, switches or batteries – just plug in and play.

The Keysnake hardware is protected by both patent and design IP.

The Keysnake app is available on both Android and iOS. You can download it for free at any time – even before owning a Keysnake – to explore the features and try the built-in Keysnake emulator, which lets you see exactly how your inputs would affect a real device.

There are no in-app purchases. You get the full experience from day one.

When you set up your Keysnake, the app guides you step-by-step and includes direct support via WhatsApp if you ever need help. To connect with your Keysnake, the app requests Bluetooth permissions (and therefore location access on some devices).

The Keysnake is entirely controlled through the app, and firmware updates are installed directly within it – ensuring your Keysnake keeps improving long after you buy it.

We ship from two warehouses: California (USA) and Rotterdam (Netherlands, EU).

United States deliveries arrive in approximately 3 to 5 business days and are sent with USPS.

European Union deliveries arrive in approximately 1 to 5 business days and are sent with DPD.

United Kingdom deliveries arrive in approximately 2 to 5 business days and are sent with FedEX DDP (duties and taxes paid by us).
